Production Technician / Manufacturing Mechanical Assembly Technician

Are you a skilled Production Technician looking for a new challenge in a well-established manufacturing company? AWD online is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Technician / Manufacturing Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Operations Team.



As a Production Technician / Manufacturing Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the in-process inspection and assembly operations for in-house manufactured laboratory equipment. You will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the quality and efficiency of our products.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Mechanical assembly and inspection of laboratory equipment
  • Assembly of small tubing and fittings
  • Reviewing manufacturing cell stock levels and quality
  • Improvement of product assembly through exploring new methods
  • Supporting production technicians with fault finding
  • Reporting of slow processes and quality concerns to line managers
  • Experience in a production based role
  • 2 A levels or National diploma / GNVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Experience with mechanical assemblies
  • Confident with Windows, Excel, Word
  • Ability to read engineering drawings

  • 2 A levels or National diploma / GNVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Experience with mechanical assemblies

  • Full driving license and own vehicle
