Job Title: Audit Manager - Portfolio Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead a substantial portfolio of clients in our office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing assignments, ensuring audit quality, and developing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage a substantial portfolio of clients, ensuring excellent client service and making a significant contribution to the overall future development and success of the service line and the firm.
- Assignment Management: Manage assignments in accordance with the firm's standard procedures, confirm arrangements with the client, and ensure audit quality at all times.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, research and prepare proposals, and take part in formal presentations to prospective clients.
- Team Leadership: Act as a line manager to students and/or seniors, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Professional Development: Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses, and fulfill the Institute's CPD requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience: Previous experience operating at manager level in a similar role, with proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong client relationships.
- Skills: Proven wide audit experience in producing high-quality audits, with experience in the SME sector and charity sector desirable.
