Audit Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join a prestigious mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants. As a key member of the Audit & Assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's audit services forward.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record at the managerial level, with a strong background in audit services and a passion for delivering excellence. You will be responsible for managing a substantial client portfolio, overseeing assignments, and ensuring meticulous adherence to auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Oversee the planning and execution of audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Lead and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in auditing standards, applying this knowledge to improve audit services.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive services to clients.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.
- Demonstrated experience at the managerial level in a similar capacity.
- Proven ability to manage client portfolios and nurture enduring client relationships.
- Extensive audit experience delivering high-quality audits.
- Familiarity with auditing within the SME sector is advantageous.
- A penchant for business development activities is highly regarded.
What We Offer:
- Salary circa £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualification status.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
