About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Principal Designer/CDM Advisor to join our team in Central London. As a Junior Principal Designer/CDM Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients' construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage design-related risks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, designers, and clients through regular design team meetings and risk workshops.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide essential information to contractors to manage health and safety throughout the construction phase.
  • Conduct interim health and safety inspections and review site records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Review contractors' construction phase health and safety plans to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Pursue professional qualifications in designing, building surveying, or building services to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development (CPD) to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Hold a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety, or be willing to obtain one.
