Job Title: Junior CDM Advisor/Assistant Principal Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior CDM Advisor/Assistant Principal Designer to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our Housing Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the public sector housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Principal Designer in fulfilling duties as outlined in the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.
  2. Work closely with Housing Association and Local Authority clients to deliver Principal Designer services for residential properties, including high-rise buildings.
  3. Identify and manage design-related risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Communicate effectively with contractors, designers, and clients through Design Team Meetings and Risk Workshops.
  5. Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, providing essential information to contractors to manage health and safety throughout the construction phase.
  6. Conduct interim Health & Safety inspections and review site records.
  7. Review Contractor's Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
  8. Pursue a professional qualification in designing, building surveying, or building services.
  9. Commit to continual professional development (CPD).
  10. Hold a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety, or be willing to obtain one.
