Residential Care Home Cleaning Professional Opportunity

Ambient Support Limited seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Croft, a residential care home for older people in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.

This part-time position, up to 24 hours per week, offers the chance to contribute to the well-being of our service users while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities include ensuring correct infection control measures are in place, utilizing and maintaining equipment as instructed, and keeping all assigned areas clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintaining proper infection control protocols.
  2. Proper use, storage, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  3. Cleaning and upkeep of bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and lounges.
  4. Assistance with meal preparation and serving when required.
  5. Respecting confidentiality of personal information.
  6. Management of cleaning materials and domestic supplies in accordance with COSHH regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Capability to undertake manual handling tasks.
  2. Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  3. Able to work flexibly and respond to the needs of the service.
  4. Demonstrate awareness and understanding of confidentiality and Health & Safety regulations.
