Job Summary

Moog Military Aircraft Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial accountability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Corporate Reporting: Develop and implement effective corporate reporting processes.
  • Long-term Accounting: Manage and maintain accurate long-term accounting records.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement budgets and forecasts.
  • Statutory Accounts: Ensure compliance with statutory accounting requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage tax compliance and ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Operational Accounting: Analyze and improve operational accounting processes.
  • Management Accounting: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Reporting and Presenting: Develop and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Liaison with Group Finance Team: Collaborate with the Group Finance Team in East Aurora, NY, US.
  • Sustainment of SAP S/4HANA: Ensure the continued implementation and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Development of Financial Reporting Schedules: Develop and maintain accurate financial reporting schedules.
  • Development of Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Liaison with Internal/External Auditors: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Mentoring: Mentor a team of 3 Trainee Accountants.
  • Delegate for Reporting Manager and Finance Director: Act as a delegate for the Reporting Manager and Finance Director.
