About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Royal Free Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric assessment and management of cases within the Neurodevelopment Service.

Main Duties

The post holder will work with other Consultant and junior doctor colleagues to provide psychiatric assessment and management of cases within the Neurodevelopment Service. You will also contribute materially to the daytime on call rota and be part of the clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification

Essential

  • On the specialist register of the General Medical Council (GMC) for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Registered with the GMC and within 6 months of being accepted for the specialist register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Fellowship / Membership of relevant Royal College of Psychiatry Section 12 approved / equivalent

Desirable

  • Level 3 child Protection training
