Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at an exciting time for the business. With our recent move to new UK headquarters and the implementation of a new ERP system, we are focused on standardising finance processes and driving efficiency's.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain accurate records for fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Complete month-end postings related to fixed assets, review data for accuracy, and explore ways to automate processes.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in monthly procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations and ensure audit and SOX compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with departments to ensure proper fixed asset procedures are followed, and provide valuable data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure accurate processes around fixed asset purchases and their setup in Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Provide analysis and insight into software development fixed assets and software project costing for segments like Gaming, Leisure, and Virtual & Interactive.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the finance team and foster effective communication across departments.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with 3-10 years of post-qualification experience in a management accounting role.
  • Essential experience in fixed asset accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience is a plus).
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP technical accounting around software development would be an advantage.
