Job Title: Highly Specialist Pharmacist - Paediatric Patient Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our paediatric patient services team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, with a focus on paediatric care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of pharmacy patient services within the Evelina London Children's Hospital
  • Collaborate with the Associate Chief Pharmacist to develop and implement pharmacy dispensary services for paediatric patients
  • Provide clinical governance and leadership to the pharmacy team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and patients
Requirements:
  • MPharm or equivalent pharmacy degree
  • Registered Pharmacist of the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards
  • Member of the Faculty of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (or working towards) at Advanced Stage II
  • Recognised management qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of drug use and therapeutic trends
  • Ability to apply clinical reasoning and judgement in complex situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Arrangements:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
