Area Manager Graduate

Are you a motivated and organized individual with a background in the military looking to transition into a civilian career? We are seeking a highly skilled Area Manager Graduate to join our team at Thegradcafe.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to leverage your military experience and skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an Area Manager Graduate, you will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
- Analyse and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels
- Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture
- Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service
- Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your days will include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, as well as individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
Our teams are responsible for managing dynamic inventory and facilitating speedy deliveries round the clock. You will work closely with the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team to ensure maximum efficiency in our transport network.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English
- Relevant experience in performing data analysis
- Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
- Experience in a logistical working environment
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
