Dietitian for Specialist Surgical Medical Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietitian for Specialist Surgical Medical Services, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our dietetic services.
The successful candidate will have good post-registration experience of working as a Band 5/6 with some existing skills in at least one of the specialties within the rotation. You will be a motivated, compassionate, and dynamic individual who can use your own initiative, be flexible in your approach, and is inspired to be part of a developing service.

About the Role- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our dietetic services
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition and dietetic plans
- Contribute to the design and delivery of education and training programs for healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities
- BSc. or MSc. in Nutrition and Dietetics or BSc. in relevant science followed by Post Graduate Diploma or State Registration in Dietetics
- State Registered Dietitian with the HCPC
- Knowledge and experience of working clinically in the field of dietetics
- Knowledge of nutritional needs and nutritional assessment in a range of clinical conditions
- Working knowledge of a range of clinical conditions and current best practice for dietetic management
