Dietitian for Specialist Surgical Medical Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our Stroke Team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietitian for Specialist Surgical Medical Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients across our busy Hyper Acute Stroke Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation unit.
Main Responsibilities- Work alongside the Band 7 stroke dietitian to develop and implement effective care plans for patients with stroke and other neurological conditions.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based dietary advice to patients, families, and carers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in audit and research activities to improve clinical practice and patient care.
We are looking for a Dietitian with:
BSc. or MSc. in Nutrition and Dietetics or a relevant science degree with postgraduate qualification in Dietetics.State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Experience of working clinically in the field of dietetics, with a strong understanding of nutritional needs and assessment in various clinical conditions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.What We OfferAs a Dietitian with the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, you will have access to:
