About the Job:

We are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team in Newry, Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing health and safety risks and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in a similar role, ideally within an engineering or construction setting. A NEBOSH Certificate is also essential. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with staff and contractors.

Key Tasks:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Providing training and support to staff and contractors
  • Collaborating with clients and other external stakeholders

Salary and Benefits:

A competitive salary of £43,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
