About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Capital team in procurement. The successful candidate will support the category management team on all key aspects of the strategic sourcing process for a range of procurement activities across pre-agreed categories of spend, building relationships and influencing.
Using both tactical and strategic approaches to sourcing and negotiation, the Procurement Specialist will bring challenge, new ideas, and solutions to the business. They will help the business think differently and seek new opportunities and innovations from the marketplace.
Our team currently works a hybrid model, which is a mix of working from any NWL office as required and the rest of the time at home.
About You
We're looking for a Procurement Specialist with proven negotiation skills, commerciality, and problem-solving techniques, who is passionate about delivering an excellent service to all service users.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build key relationships across our team and the wider business, utilising excellent interpersonal skills (including stakeholder management) blended with verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience is not essential, but an appreciation of the procurement processes, experience in a capital infrastructure environment, or experience of working with procurement as a stakeholder would be an advantage.
