Treasury Assistant

About the Role:
SF Recruitment (Nottingham) Careers is seeking an experienced Treasury Assistant to join a leading business in Derbyshire on a fixed term contract basis. This 12-month role offers full-time flexible hours with 2 days working from home.
As a key member of the finance department, you will work closely with another team member to perform a range of treasury-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process daily banking transactions and collaborate with supporting teams.
• Prepare regular and urgent payments, and produce & send remittance advice.
• Check and book Foreign currency forward contracts.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations from bank statement to accounting system.
• Administer mandate changes and banking access requirements.
• Prepare data for cash flow forecasting, liaising with other business units to obtain accurate forecast data and presenting to the financial manager for final approval.
• Monitor and post direct debit payments.
• Manage daily deposit and loan activities.
• Support with expenses processing and reporting.
• Check and post credit card payments.
