Head Waiter/Waitress Opportunity

Voyage with Adam Simmonds is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our newly opened Fine Dining restaurant in Kings Cross.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in high-end operations and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry, with a real understanding of fine dining cuisine.

The Head Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for taking orders, providing detailed menu knowledge, and making recommendations to enhance the guest experience. They will also be a team player, coordinating with kitchen staff for accurate and timely service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working 4 days a week (Wednesday-Saturday)
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Monitoring cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of all dining areas
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation standards
  • Supervising work during service to ensure all procedures and standards are respected
  • Maintaining a calm demeanor at all times and a professional approach to stressful situations

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in high-end operations
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a real understanding of fine dining cuisine

  • Ability to commit the menu to memory
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
