Import Logistics Specialist

At Fabric Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute import strategies to optimize logistics efficiency and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure competitive freight forwarding contracts and favorable terms.
- Manage import documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including customs clearance and duty payments.
- Evaluate and select transportation methods based on cost, speed, and reliability, and monitor shipment schedules to proactively address any issues that arise.
- Regularly communicate with internal teams and external partners, including the external sales team, customer service department, and merchants, to ensure seamless coordination and effective problem-solving.
- Report on KPIs and personal objectives monthly, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
About You:
- Strong knowledge of import processes for Europe and India, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful import strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Self-motivated with a high attention to detail, and proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
