Fabric Recruitment is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join their dynamic team. As an Import Coordinator, you will play a pivotal part in developing and executing import strategies, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods, and building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute import strategies to optimise logistics efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for timely deliveries.
  • Manage import documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Secure competitive freight forwarding contracts to gain favourable terms.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and proactively address any issues that arise.
  • Evaluate and select transportation methods based on cost, speed, and reliability.
  • Regularly communicate with internal teams and external partners, including the external sales team, customer service department, and merchants.
  • Report on KPIs and personal objectives monthly.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of import processes for Europe and India.
  • Proven relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
