Aerospace Seating Design Expert Opportunity

Tata Technologies Europe Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Seating Design Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Research and Development department, you will be responsible for developing complex design concepts and mechanisms, BOMs, detailed design of seating components, and leading successful design integration to ensure customer/airframer regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the design of aircraft interior seating systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions, including manufacturing, testing, and validation.
  • Apply advanced design techniques, such as CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and Smarteam, to optimize design performance and efficiency.
  • Lead design reviews and ensure on-time delivery of engineering milestones, driving project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and knowledge management systems to support design excellence and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in aerospace seating design, aircraft assembly line, and industrial standards.
  • Strong knowledge of CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and Smarteam, with proficiency in design and engineering software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on complex projects, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
