Android App Malware Reverse Engineer

We are working with a well-established, CREST accredited Consultancy who have recently secured a significant project with a leading Information Technology organization. They are seeking an Android App Malware Reverse Engineer to join their team.

This role involves working in a team of 6 to analyze the security within Android Devices, tackling complex questions that cannot be answered by lower malware analysis tiers. The environment will be fast-paced, and the project will be long and challenging, offering a high level of job satisfaction.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Reverse Engineering
  • Reverse engineering of Android and Java-based apps
  • Experience with different types of code and languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
  • Vulnerability assessment and mobile penetration testing
  • Knowledge of security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing, and software attack methodologies

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project with a reputable organization, contributing to the development of the company's expertise in mobile security.
