Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Haematology Specialist Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery of complex home care services to patients with medium to long-term care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery of complex home care services, ensuring high standards of care and safety are maintained.
  • Care Package Development: Develop and implement care packages for new clients, including clinical assessments, care planning, and training of support workers.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships, ensuring ongoing high standards of care and safety are maintained, and making necessary alterations to care packages as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with Complex Care Managers, ICBs, other professional bodies, and key team members to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Professional Development: Proactively identify areas for continuing professional development and discuss these with your line manager to align personal growth goals with organisational needs and career advancement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience working in Intensive Care Units (ICU), spinal care units, or with complex care patients, demonstrating a high level of expertise in handling severe and multifaceted medical conditions.
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between locations.
  • Skills: Proven ability to adapt and thrive in various clinical settings, including hospitals, community care, and home-based care environments, with comprehensive knowledge of age-specific care practices, treatment plans, and communication strategies for effective patient management.
