SEMH Support Worker

We are delighted to be recruiting dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join a team supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Scunthorpe. As a Teaching Assistant in an SEMH provision, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. Your main responsibilities will include:
•Assisting with classroom activities and educational programs.
•Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
•Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
•Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
•Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.
•A high level of resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
