**Assistant Manager Job Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Farmfoods. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our shop, working closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work closely with the Shop Manager to achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Responsible for the development and motivation of a team of retail assistants.
- Manage the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, ensuring that customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
- Support the Shop Manager with recruitment, induction, and training of new team members.
**Requirements:**
- A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
- Previous experience as a manager, team leader, or supervisor.
