Job Title: Project Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Officer to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects across the Trust, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Manage project teams, including delegating tasks and responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, procedures, and governance structures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners
Requirements:
  • APM Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualification
  • Experience of managing projects in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
