Domestic Abuse Early Responder

St Giles Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Early Responder. In this critical role, you will engage with perpetrators of domestic abuse in police custody, providing a unique opportunity to address their offending behaviour and promote positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement domestic abuse offender risk management plans based on thorough assessments.
  • Build positive relationships with offenders in custody, promoting acceptance of responsibility for their actions and encouraging positive behaviour change.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure the safety of victims and families, escalating risks of harm and implementing multi-agency plans as necessary.
  • Deliver a holistic support service, adapting to the needs of each situation.
