Disability Support Worker

£12.15 per hour

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to individuals with complex needs, including those with autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
  • Encourage participation in community activities, fostering social connections and a sense of belonging.
Requirements:
  • A valid full UK driving license is required for this position.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and composure when working with individuals who may present challenging behaviors.
  • Prior experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is highly beneficial.
  • Candidates should have a strong understanding of autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health needs.
