Therapeutic Support Worker Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Therapeutic Support Workers and Senior Therapeutic Support Workers.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people aged 13-18 years, providing a nurturing and empowering environment for them to grow and develop.
The role involves creating a caring and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of young people, planning and facilitating activities to promote learning and integration within the home, and staying informed on legislation and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and recording young people's progress, achievements, and important life events, collaborating with local authorities/placing authorities to provide outstanding care, and fostering positive relationships with parents/carers to support young people's development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a supportive and empowering environment for young people to thrive.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote learning and socialisation.
- Stay up-to-date with legislative requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and record young people's progress and achievements.
- Collaborate with external agencies to provide high-quality care.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and carers.
Requirements:
- A valid driving license is essential due to the rural locations of our homes.
- Possess a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interactions with young people, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
