Job Title: Safety Health Manager

i-Pharm Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Safety Health Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Environmental Health and Safety function, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols, fostering a culture of environmental awareness and compliance, and minimizing the environmental impact of the company's operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SEH roles, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry, and in-depth knowledge of HSE legislative frameworks across EU and UK. They will also have expertise in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, excellent communication skills, and understanding of green gas reduction program requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Environmental and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and 14001)
  • Monitoring and reviewing the SHE policy and practice - ensuring compliance with ISO standards
  • Driving initiatives (environmental)
  • Managing the statutory environmental reporting to comply with Environmental regulations such as weee, EPA and SECR Report
  • Conducting audits and assessments to ensure adherence to the laws and regulations

The successful candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert on regulations such as WEEE and REACH and on Internal Audits. They will also have Environment Management Certification essential - eg NEBOSH, IEMA, and Accreditation by an approved Environmental association (eg IEMA) is preferred.
