Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans, data capture, and ongoing analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Oversee and enforce all health and safety policies within the company to ensure compliance with current legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement preventative measures to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Review and update existing policies and measures to ensure they remain effective and compliant with changing legislation.
  • Initiate and organize OHS training for employees and executives to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles safely.
  • Inspect premises and work areas to identify potential issues or non-conformities and take corrective action as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager with a strong track record of reducing risks and improving safety performance.
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports and develop relevant policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills to lead and influence others.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation skills to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.
