We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Insights Manager to join our team at the University of Brighton. As a key member of our research and knowledge exchange team, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and commercially viable community research functions, gaining valuable insights with disadvantaged communities, and providing actionable recommendations for driving social change.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement community research projects, working closely with stakeholders to identify research needs and priorities.
- Conduct secondary research, qualitative and quantitative data capture and analysis, including thematic analysis using NVivo.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to collaborative decision-making in areas of business and research.
- Prepare regular written reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for both academic and commercial audiences.
- Support the development of training programs for individuals involved in conducting research within and beyond the organisation.

What We Offer:
- A 28-month fixed-term contract as a KTP Associate, delivering a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project.
- A competitive salary and a personal development budget of £2,000 p/a (pro rata).
- The opportunity to work on an innovative project with a Brighton-based charity, Trust for Developing Communities.
Requirements:
- A minimum 2:1 Business management-related degree, preferably with a qualification in the field of marketing.
- Relevant Masters in the field of Social and/or Strategic Marketing is desirable.
- Project planning and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet objectives and deadlines with an appropriate level of supervision.
