Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Brighton and Hove Clinic. As a key member of the nursing team, you will support the Ward Manager in leading the team to provide high-quality care and support for young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Ward Manager in leading the nursing team and coordinating the on-call service
  • Empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward
  • Utilize and supervise all nursing staff effectively
  • Be an expert resource on nursing care of service users within the specialism
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative environment to allow ward members to reach their potential

Requirements:
  • A relevant nursing qualification
  • NMC registration
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
