Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) to join our Urgent Care division, responsible for supporting existing clinical care in multi-professional teams.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical practice skills, assessing health and clinical needs of patients, diagnosing, treating, referring or discharging patients as needed.

This role involves working face-to-face with patients, supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We offer a diverse and contemporary workforce, supporting the four pillars of advanced practice: Leadership & Management; Education, Research and Clinical Practice.

Your responsibilities as an ACP include:

  • Leading clinical teams during shifts
  • Conducting consultations with patients, taking comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations, and using expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnoses
  • Deciding on and carrying out treatment, including prescribing medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols
  • Providing clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff

The salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
