Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at London Bridge Hospital, a leading private healthcare hospital in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and safe pharmacy service to our patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy and haematology treatments.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical pharmacy services to patients undergoing chemotherapy and haematology treatments
  • Liaising with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective use of medicines
  • Leading and managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Representing the pharmacy department at hospital-wide meetings and committees

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist with:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Postgraduate diploma or masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
  • Specialist knowledge in oncology and haematology
  • Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy and leadership roles
