The Foundation of Light is seeking a highly motivated individual to deliver the Game of II Halves project, a community-based initiative aimed at promoting positive mental wellbeing and resilience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with local communities, raising awareness about the importance of mental health, and providing opportunities for participation in the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to destigmatize mental health and promote positive resilience messages in the community.
  2. Collaborate with a team of 'Ambassadors' to upskill them in promoting mental wellbeing and resilience in their community.
  3. Deliver the Game of II Halves project across Sunderland, South Tyneside, and County Durham, with a focus on engaging hard-to-reach communities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health and wellbeing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a community setting.

Applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and adhere to the Foundation of Light's equal opportunities policy.
