Deputy Service Manager Opportunity

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Service Manager to join our team in Taunton. As a key member of our management team, you will play a central role in leading our residential service and supporting individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of colleagues to help individuals gain more independence in their daily lives
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans, conduct care needs assessments, and recruit and induct new colleagues
  • Complete supervisions, appraisals, medication competencies, and medication audits, as well as attend multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our service and participate in the on-call rota
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a care management role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours
  • Passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support
