Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Development Manager to support the business unit in its delivery of its annual budget requirement and associated performance targets. As a Senior Development Manager, you will lead the technical delivery for each allocated project, through the entire Vistry Life of Site cycle, working within all relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery for each allocated project.
  • Support the business unit in its delivery of its annual budget requirement and associated performance targets.
  • Manage the process of design solutions.
  • Provide advice and support to Development and Assistant Development Managers.
  • Implement and comply with Vistry Partnerships SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, and best practice within the business unit.
  • Manage the process of designing solutions that meet business commercial needs.
  • Support the commercial relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors during the project life cycle.
  • Assess, control, and mitigate risks and implement Vistry Partnerships risk policy.
  • Support the project teams to fulfil contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while minimising costs.

Requirements

  • Construction/design related HNC/HND/Degree.
  • Relevant CSCS card.
  • Residential development experience.
  • Ability to delivering mixed tenure regeneration projects on brownfield sites.
  • Management of design Consultants.
  • Building and maintaining internal and external relationships.
  • Contract & commercial awareness.
  • Professional aptitude with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Good time management with ability to multitask.
  • Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company.
  • Good technical knowledge and skills.
  • Experience in the social/affordable housing and healthcare sectors.
