Job Overview

Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, serving over 1700 veterinary practices through 60 plus dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Weekend Veterinary Nurse to join our team. As a Weekend Veterinary Nurse, you will work every other weekend, providing top-notch care to pets in need.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and treatment
  • Working closely with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in emergency pet care and critical care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or degree in veterinary nursing
  • Experience working in emergency pet care or a similar field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care
