About Us

Our 24-Hour Hospital in Dearne Valley is supported by a dedicated team, including our Practice Manager, Head RVN, and a strong clinical Nursing team. Our state-of-the-art facility features cutting-edge digital x-ray, ultrasound, and full body CT scanner technology, as well as an in-house laboratory. The practice boasts three large consulting rooms, two theatres, a spacious prep area, internal lab facilities, and ample learning and office spaces.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team as a Veterinary Specialist in Medical Imaging. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the veterinary team and ensuring the provision of exceptional medical care to our patients. Your leadership skills, clinical expertise, and passion for animal welfare will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of the practice, your team, and yourself.

Responsibilities
  • To deliver professional excellence, observing the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • To work closely with the Practice Manager to maximise commercial performance, focusing on key measures.
  • To pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Requirements
  • RCCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • CertAVP in Surgery.
  • Ability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, spinals, fracture repair, and complex soft tissue (e.g.,).
