We are seeking an experienced and skilled veterinary surgeon to join our team at our 24-hour Hospital in Dearne Valley. As a Veterinary Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, and contributing to the continued success and growth of our practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgery, experience with TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, spinals, fracture repair, and complex soft tissue procedures. You will also have excellent coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to our patients
  • Support nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures
  • Contribute to the continued success and growth of our practice
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to maximise commercial performance
  • Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community

Requirements:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • CertAVP in Surgery
  • Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures
  • Ability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, spinals, fracture repair, and complex soft tissue procedures
