Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate them.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with external health and safety consultants to provide training programs and health and safety services.
- Chair and formulate minutes for the Health and Safety Committee meetings, ensuring all agreed action points are completed within deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and communicate changes to the business.
- Prepare regular reports for the Human Resources Manager, Board of Directors/Senior Management Team on relevant health and safety activities.
