We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Richmond. As a key member of our early years team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and education of children in our settings, working closely with the class teacher and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organization.
Requirements:
- A University Graduate with a minimum of 2:2.
- Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
