About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Adult Services team as an Assurance Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and contribute to the transformation of our social care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver a programme of work focused on ensuring the local authority is well-prepared for CQC Assurance.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the service to develop our evidence library and act as a critical friend and quality assurer of documentation provided.
  • Ensure the voice of people we support is heard and brought to the fore as an essential part of quality assurance and improvement.
  • Develop robust improvement plans with colleagues and monitor delivery, refreshing our approach as required.
  • Utilise excellent report writing skills to update our current Adult Social Care Self Assessment Narrative and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
