About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Adult Services team as an Assurance Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and contribute to our ambitious transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver a programme of work focused on ensuring the local authority is well-prepared for CQC Assurance.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the emerging approach taken by our regulator, briefing colleagues on developments and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the service to develop our evidence library, acting as a critical friend and quality assuring documentation provided.
  • Ensure the voice of people we support is heard and brought to the fore, as an essential part of quality assurance and improvement.
  • Develop robust improvement plans with colleagues and monitor delivery, refreshing our approach as required.
