Lead Digital Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Digital Analyst to spearhead our Digital Trading & Marketing Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the team's strategic direction and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital analytics roadmap to drive commercial actions and achieve revenue targets.
  • Deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions, leveraging data from first and third-party sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create new reporting requirements that drive cross-departmental decision-making.
  • Design and implement new processes to improve data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Champion the adoption of new tracking and reporting capabilities introduced by emerging platforms and tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a Digital Analytics team or as a Lead Web Analyst in a fast-paced, commercial eCommerce setting.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics 360 and hands-on experience with GA4.
  • Proficiency in dashboard presentation platforms such as Data Studio, Tableau, with Looker experience being advantageous.
  • Strong command of BigQuery and familiarity with Google Analytics UA/GA4 schema.
  • Competence in mapping event tracking to BigQuery GA schemas.
  • Solid understanding of digital data structures, including data flow from websites to Google Analytics and BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of MVT, A/B testing, and analytics tools.
  • Awareness of GDPR legislation and its implications for digital analytics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of influencing others.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Commercial acumen, analytical prowess, and proven decision-making capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
