Phlebotomy Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our phlebotomy team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from adults and children using venepuncture and capillary techniques
  • Work across multiple sites, including Warrington and Halton hospitals, and some General Practitioners in Runcorn
  • Provide excellent customer care and communication skills to patients, staff, and managers
  • Be flexible and willing to work outside normal hours to meet service demands

Requirements:

  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of English and Maths
  • Confident with IT systems and knowledge of Lorenzo
