We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our phlebotomy team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from adults and children using venepuncture and capillary techniques
- Work across multiple sites, including Warrington and Halton hospitals, and some General Practitioners in Runcorn
- Provide excellent customer care and communication skills to patients, staff, and managers
- Be flexible and willing to work outside normal hours to meet service demands
Requirements:
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of English and Maths
- Confident with IT systems and knowledge of Lorenzo
