We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in the Tesco Extra store in Watford. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandising and maintaining the toy department, including handling deliveries and replenishing stock
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the toy department and surrounding areas
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
- Participating in visual merchandising and display activities to create an engaging and appealing store environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
