The Position

We are seeking two senior medical advisors to join our team at our office on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will drive key medical and scientific initiatives in the obesity/diabetes portfolio while working collaboratively with public affairs, corporate affairs, market access, and HEOR departments to provide medical and scientific advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on medical governance around the process of review and approval of materials
  • Participate in and contribute to internal panels and groups related to compliance decisions impacting the overall business
  • Provide optimal delivery of scientific information to the medical and scientific community
  • Ensure compliant and high-quality medical education strategy via various digital channels
  • Contribute to the development of the Medical Affairs strategy
  • Make an effective contribution to the medical team and to cross-functional groups within the Business Area

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a medical or pharmacy degree and be UK registered. You will have prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, knowledge of good clinical practice, and clinical trial methodology. Additionally, you will be an ABPI qualified medical signatory and registered with PMCPA/MHRA, with strong experience in reviewing materials.

About the Department

Medical Affairs is a department within the Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) department responsible for medical and scientific dialogue supporting the appropriate use of innovative treatments, including Novo Nordisk products. We ensure that Novo Nordisk's activities are undertaken in an ethical and appropriately scientific manner, thereby safeguarding the trust and respect of healthcare professionals and patients.
