About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Senior Medical Advisors to join our team at Novo Nordisk, a leading global healthcare company. In this role, you will play a key part in driving key medical and scientific initiatives in the obesity/diabetes portfolio, working collaboratively with various departments to provide medical and scientific advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on medical governance around the review and approval of materials
  • Contribute to internal panels and groups related to compliance decisions impacting the overall business
  • Provide optimal delivery of scientific information to the medical and scientific community
  • Ensure compliant and high-quality medical education strategy via various digital channels
  • Contribute to the development of the Medical Affairs strategy
  • Make an effective contribution to the medical team and to cross-functional groups within the Business Area

Requirements

  • Medical or pharmacy degree and UK registration
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of good clinical practice and clinical trial methodology
  • ABPI qualified medical signatory and registered with PMCPA/MHRA, with strong experience in reviewing materials
  • UK GMC registered doctor or GpHC registered pharmacist, with knowledge of GCP, clinical trial methodology, and some previous experience in leading on digital medical initiatives
  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system
