Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Engineering & Manufacturing team in Blackburn. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for executing both preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, diagnosing and repairing faults in machinery and equipment, and ensuring health and safety regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in machinery and equipment, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the improvement of maintenance processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to meet targets, providing technical support and expertise as required.
Requirements:
  • A strong educational background in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the business services sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A working knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
